Tali (7/25/2007 12:58:33 AM): The monkey calmed, true it was not a wise course of action, not because he feared retribution from the cat or the owner but because Acrimony has taken an interest to the creature. He had at one time been one of those interest as well in the beginning. It was just after her awkening and release from that abyss, from then on she met three others. What was her business thinking she would take another as a companion? The last two were annoying enough, he didn't like it at all. Suddenly he was the still one, deciding to not talk for her. The Muse felt this, another tanturm from the monkey despite having nearly taken his life. She stopped petting his talk about her neck and use that hand to wipe away the blood at her cheek. In doing so she removed the wounds from the clawing leaving the -c-

With the monkey remainning silent she had no choice but to speak, "He said I want your suffering." her voice is but a whisper, "That is not the case. Your suffering brought me here." without permission she began to walk towards the jaguar, her monkey's lips twitch detesting the fact that they were moving toward the cat. The Muse's gaze never left the cat, nor did the smile disappear. "Though that is expected, The truth is that I am interested in your...'kinship'... with the darkness." her approach was slow, leisurely, like she was approaching a painting that she liked. The Muse spoke to him but she wanted to see what the cat would do at her approach.=e=
the_diabolique_harlequin (7/25/2007 1:17:34 AM): The cat growled and hissed in long slow responses as the woman and the monkey seemed to draw ever so closer. The Diabolique Harlequin raised his hand in a pained expression; the gesture was a strain on whatever was attacking him from the inside out. " Calm yourself, my pet," he said with the bitter sweet taste of agony that coursed through his blood. It made his tongue feel heaby; like so much deadweight. A burden upon himself. " Kinship...you say." Now where exactly was this going? Who was this woman and what did she want. he had no times for games to be played. A cough seized his form once again and damn near doubled him over. Blood dripped freely. Dark and oozing; seemingly to amplify the shadows that pulled toward him; coming to his aid. <E>
Tali (7/25/2007 1:44:22 AM): The pain going through this man was felt sharply within her, it sent a shiver though her body that cause her to stop. The Muse bowed her head and closed her eyes and focused on his suffering. Did she enjoy it or did she loathe it? By her expression none could tell. She remained that way for almost a minute, letting the flood of pain go through her. Feeling it she knew she could increase it ten folds and send it back to him. She wouldn't. Her eyes opened with an intention to have a look around. The darkness in this lair was comforting, the shadows were a delight and she noticed how they moved toward him, "You don't see the Darkness like a brother? " The monkey then spoke, "She is this Darkness." which in return received a warning looking form The Muse. Though she understood the-c-

the_diabolique_harlequin (7/25/2007 1:55:41 AM): The Darkness? Her? What in all of the words and realms was this demented creature ( and Dia uses the word demented lightly; after all he isn't much better in that department ) was babbling about. His eyes narrowed yet his vision blurred. It swan as if the world were closing in; as the sahdows rushed in and kept him from collapsing. His breath fell in ragged gasps. " The darkness is I; and it is me...." Pain shot through him like there was no tomorrow. It ripped and cut through what little of a soul remained. He wanted to scream. He was too proud to allow that to happen. " So what do you want...to watch me die?" His lips moved and the darkness had to carry his failing voice. His eyes slid closed and his head fell back. He still lived, but he was hanging by a thin thread. <E>
Tali (7/25/2007 2:25:22 AM): "You are the Darkness." she echoed him then smiled seeing how well he commanded this Darkness, even in the thralls of unbearable pain. She commended his efforts of showing strength against his agony. A lesser being would fall to the ground writhing in pain by now; a sight she has seen many, many times before. Moving towards him, she stopped just a foot away. With first a glance at his cat before it fell upon him, she lifted her left hand to place it lightly on his right shoulder, very lightly. The touch would alleviate just a slight amount of pain, "I'm not here to watch you die, I'm here to watch you live." she then dropped away her hand to let what pain is left to take over, "If you are the Darkness then you shouldn't worry about dying." she moved to the cat wanting to pet it -c-
Tali (7/25/2007 2:26:44 AM): = "Your struggle now, will determine that." in due time she will reveal herself to him, though in truth, the Darkness within her has found a kindred.=e=
the_diabolique_harlequin (7/25/2007 2:41:38 AM): A smidget of the pain had seemed to have been taken away; but only for the moment. The plague had traveled through and up his bloodstream and was now infecting his heart. It would then be filtered through out his body. His every vein was blackened beneath and showing through his pale flesh. In these brief and few last moments; a Light seemed to fill the void. Vivid memories came playing back cascading him back through time to points of long forgotten dreams. From brith through childhood; until the point he was little more than a young man. Alone in thw world. The night Meme De Circus had discovered him. Was it all for nothing? A choking cough produced a profuse of blood. Rich and thick streaming down from wounds so grievious that not even his body seemed to be able to fight<C

" My struggle...will not be in vain..." the last of his voice was pulled from hsi body as the shadows quivered and they seemed to lose their grip upon his form. He sank down and rested upon his knees. Swaying back and forth in what could have been a drunken stupor. " I know you..." he said with what little strength remained. The light in his pale eyes began to dim. Blinking out at the uncontrolled mutations ravaged and tore him apart. Every cell and fiber felt like it was now being consumed by fire. At last there was no more to contain...his wounded heart could bear the pain no more. A scream tore from his lips so fierce that even the Darkness was in awe. The very shadows cringed at his final display of pride. <C>
the_diabolique_harlequin (7/25/2007 2:42:00 AM): His ego shattered upon the alter of his consciousness; just as his body fell forward; slouching hard face first against the solid surface underfoot. A series of small convulsions; and with his left arm he turned and reached toward the shadows. His fading sight lingering upon the black onyx ring. " A gift...yes...it was..." but words failed him. Breath ceased to be. A dead heart inside a now dead shell. His now stained and tainted black blood spilled out of his gaping mouth and pooled within the deeper darkness. The plague had taken it course. Without his essence to contain it; his former shell crumbled and cracked; returning to the dust from whence it had been created. The black ring; the ruby shards sunk into the black abyss of the Primal Darkness. <E>
