Well that’s that then. She had to smile. Never in her whole hundred and eighty years would have thought that it was that easy to convince an elder, let alone grand Summoner. But she will not waste time basking in her success. Straightening the silken vest that hid nothing of her tattoed abdomen, she offers another bow. “My unending gratitude to you, lord Syrus. I would appreciate it very much..” She pauses yet again, glancing to the duo before returning sparkling gaze to the Summoner”.. and them of course, if you could transport us back to the Town’s square. I promise to be out of your region within the hour”. She concluded, clasping slender hands as she awaits his reaction. And then she watch, bracing herself as the Yalar nodded. The swirls of mana rises all around them, engulfing them, the earth shook for a moment before walls of stone rises up to form the chamber from whence they were encased before. And then the walls disappeared, receding into dust, settling around their feet. She shook her head, expecting debris of fly from silvery blue strands. “Damn the Earth.” She mutters, stepping gingerly away from the spot, leaving the two behind without further thoughts.
From behind the fountain in the center of the village's square, the persistent presence of the Naurian could be felt as he sure as hell felt the flow of increasing mana, and the essence in which it had to take in order to return Niire and the others to the surface. So he had not imagined it after all? They had been standing there before, and then in the blink of an eye they had seemed to vanish into nothingness. " Not leaving on my account, are you?" His voice shot over the distance that she seemed to be putting between herself and those that had had accompanied her. He took a few generous steps around the fountan, and as he did, he reached out and railed his fingertips over, skimming the surface of the water inside. His dark eyes were brightly lit with the afternoon sun <c>
xavien_azhrarn: reflecting back and touching upon their unfathomed depths. He seemed to act quite different from the rest of those that hailed from the region of Naur, more sympathetic and easy-going, one might be so bold as to describe in which the manner that he came across with. So now he wondered as his gaze slipped off in her direction, just where they had gone off to? For a moment he could have sworn hat he had felt the power of the Earth? But perhaps that might have been a little too far fetched, for why would the Earth be all the way out here in the middle of nowhere? Were they all searching for the same prize? He could only hope and pray to hsi Gods that they weren't. For if they were, it would mean trouble ahead for them all. " How about a cup of tea? My treat?" <E>
“Oh, no..no. Not him again” Her mind would whisper, as her pace receded into tiny steps. How could she not detect his Naur presence? Probably because she was still reeling from the unpleasant sensation of plane travels. Violet eyes rolled in their sockets as grip became tighter along the cylindrical matter of her staff. “Well, if it’s not the hospitable chap from the dreaded realm of Naur”. She would reply, sarcasm was thick in her small voice. Slowly she spun on her heels, and as she faces him, a hand rose to push the thick lock residing upon her shoulder. Before she could retort to his strangely alluring tone, the word ‘Tea’ would assail ears. It seems like a million days have passed since she last tasted the delicious beverage; though it was only a couple of hours prior to this moment that she indulged in a huge tankard of the brew. She shook her head, chin rising nonchalantly as she bore brilliant eyes into his piercing gaze. “No, no thank you. I must be getting out of this.. this town. As I’ve promised the Earth Summoner”. With that she spun on her heels once again, taking a step forth.
He shrugged his shoulders and watched, waited, as she turned her back and seemed hellbent on getting out of this town. So she was afraid of something? If she were, this touched a side of him that most would not consider to be that of a Naurian, and that dashing and daring, rogue-like sense of composure would come welling up from within his mind. Compelled by some unknown hand at work, he began to follow her, hanging back and just keeping a good pace behin dher, and then he would slowly begin to move forward, catching up and then befre she would know it, he would be walking at her side, his head turned and his eyes catching the falling rays of the sun. " So that was the Earth Summoner back there, huh? Must have been one crazy adventure. And to think they let you walk out of there." <E
And what does he mean by that? One crazy adventure? Did it even occur to him how precarious her position was back there? That she was caught by a summoner entering the realm without invitation. And the suffocating feel of warm stone surrounding her, choking the moisture from her being. A shudder ensued as she kept her pace, ignoring his closeness or the heat waves his body was sending to her chilled form. “Yes, it was the Earth Summoner; the Great Syrus Durgar himself.” She offered an irate tune though whisper-like in nature. Eyes roamed the roadside, darting from left to right and back again; half expecting soldiers of the Earth Realm to charge at them both. She glanced at the lithe form walking close to her, side stepping slightly as she did to avoid running her right shoulder into his left. “And why are you still lingering here? If they were to find you..” She pauses, a knowing smile tugging at the corners of blue tinged lips. “You won’t be so merry”. As they passed an open stall, the familiar aroma of Tea, assaulted her nostrils, causing her to mumble incoherently. Damn her addiction.
' Let them find me...I need to work up an appetite before dinner," he said with a loose smile and a twinkle in his eye and the expression that gave off the impression that he either talked way too much bullnuts or that he was capable of backing up his every word spoken. He would leave it to her own opinion of which one of these could refer to him as. Yet he did throw a cautious glance from time to time as they walked down the dirt track that they called a road. His right hand was always close and lingered around the hilt of the sword that was sheathed upon his left hip. One could never be too careful in a region that would come across as most likely unfriendly, even to himself. But a smile remained on his youthful appearance. " At least the old man is letting you walk out of here. But of course she was right and he might be in a swell enough mood to even admit to that. If they were being watched, then of course it would be that would become their first and foremost target, and though in his own right and manner, as an officer and a warrior, it would be in his duty to protect the young maiden and give up his own life in the process. " Perhaps you're right. I might not be so merry. So if they do happen to come after us, just stay behind me. I'll protect you." She would more than likely find this behavior to be a little odd, tacky, overwhelming mayhaps? Most considered him the black sheep,if they knew of how he really felt about the other Elements. He adverted his eyes and casts his gaze skyward, where Vox flew overhead, leaving trails of burning embers. <E>
