The young Drow female lowered her stance as she heard the grunts and groans of the obscured man within the dark globe of darkness. Crimson tinged irises glowing under the low lighting of the upper cavern, wary reflected in the twin mirrors. She had not come across this kind of a behavior from a surface dweller. Such horrific groaning should be a sign of distress; as far as she knows, but something tells her that this was not the case as the groaning turns into feral-like grunts. A slender, mauve hued, arm rose to touch the hilt of the short sword strapped to her back; the sound of steel upon leather came as a sickening whispering as eyes remained trained on the general area of the man, waiting for the next even to occur which should not be much longer judging from the sounds or lack of her hands began to move in a series of flicks and turns, signaling to her four blackguards to be on standby as she herself move to a battle stance; the short blade in her right hand and the wrist bow on her left were raised to aim at darkness before her.
Malikai:: The moment his transformation had finished, those silver hues shot open. Though her dark sphere could block his powers, his senses were far from being stopped. With a quick sniff through his newly lengthened muzzle, he would pick up the scent of steel and wood. If an animal could laugh, he was attempting it. It sounded like a cross between a bark and a growl coming from him. Taking this scent as a sign that she was waiting for him, he thought it best not to draw out his exit from her little trick. With a flex of his legs, he dashed from the sphere and out into the open. Almost a blur in his movement, was he. Coming to a stop on the other side of her, he would crouch down. Knees bent, hands placed on the ground. And again, that low growl would rumble forth from within him. His entire form had changed. Arms had lengthened greatly, as had his midsection and legs. His head was shaped like that of a Siberian Husky. And now, his entire body was covered in fur, the color of blackened steel. All that remained of his other form were his eyes. Those same, silvery hues. An ear twitched at the sounds coming from around him. She was not alone now. Not like it could help her any.

The blur of movements had not escaped her attention; the infrared vision captured images of her furry nemesis as he rushed out of the globe and onto the space between the cluster of jutting rock upon which she was perched upon and the cavern wall. A quiet hiss would escape her blue lips but she remained unmoving within the shadows as she watched him stalled to a stop just short of the wall. Her wrists and fingers would move, signaling to the blackguards to stand down for this one was hers to slay. As he acknowledges their presence, she registered his present form, He was an abomination of sorts; neither man nor beast but something in between. She has heard of such creatures, but from what she has gathered, they can only change during full moons. There was barely any this night though the darkness of night was not complete by the presence of sparkling stars upon the black canopy known to men as the sky. Shynayne would wait for his next move; slender digits gripping the pommel of her sword firmly as she points it to the ground though keeping her left arm pointing at the head of the creature.
Malikai :: His own eyes stayed locked on her, body unmoving. Every muscle in his body was tensed in the anticipation. Lowered stance indicated he was waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Each of the five digits on his hands were tipped in the most vicious, razor sharp claws. And with a snarl, those gleaming white teeth of his to view. Each of them capable of rending flesh from bone in record speed. Though he kept his eyes on her, he was well aware of the others she was commanding. Though her hand signals escaped his understanding, he recognized a challenge when he saw one. She wanted to take him on by herself. Making a mental note of her ability to seclude him in the spheres, he would strategize around that. Acknowledging her stance, he would begin to pace slowly. Rising to his full height, which in his new form was just shy of two whole feet taller than his human appearance. Arms kept at his side, thought they were at the ready to block, strike, or anything that would require their use. Beneath his coat of fur, every muscle rippled against the skin. He'd toned his own body so that this form would benefit from it as well, and it had proven a wise move. He could feel the power of this form coursing through him, every muscle aching to test itself. Still, he held himself until the moment was right. And though he circled her, his eyes never left her. Like any wolf with it's prey, he would continue to circle until he saw a perceived weakness.

Shynayne was almost amused by the way he was prancing around like a caged animal, though no laughter was heard, not even the heaving of breath. The drow female leaped from her perch then, nimble feet planting themselves on the barest flat surface for a fraction of a second before moving to the next on her way down to face the man-beast. Agility was one of the best qualities of the elven kind, more so for the fallen ones known to the world as Drow. With a silent thud, her small frame would land on the dust riddled stone floor, her left hand rising immediately, palm facing down to point the wrist-bow to his huge head; the short sword in her right hand. When he started to circle around her, she too moved, moving in a small circle to reciprocate his; crimson gaze finding his silver glare. "You are one ugly beast, surface filth" She would spat the words as if they were poison. She was curious as to the prowess of the man-beast, having naught come across of any evidence of any kind, be it stories or scars; eyes having registered the vicious claws upon his paws. Nothing can survive those and if one did, surely limbs were severed and face would be badly disfigured. But in the cruel society of the Drow, neither misfortune would be tolerated. Any fights resulting in disfigurement would have been dealt with Death; even if the survivor was the victor. Phyrra would let a snicker pass her lips.
Malikai :: His eyes followed her movements with little to no difficulty. If she were to survive, she would have to be faster than that. His reach was long enough to grasp her without leaving his body open to that sword of hers, though it was hardly an advantage. Not so long as she had that bow on her wrist. A mental note was made to rid her of that weapon. He would stop his circling, choosing to stand perfectly still instead. Though his body was now covered in muscle, he was less than bulky. Rather, he was toned, and appeared more toned than muscular. Even though his upper body was easily identified as muscled, it wasn't overly done. His stance was slightly offset, his body slightly turned from hers, though his closest foot was pointed directly at her. Those wolven paws looked every bit like his animalistic counterparts. And they, too, held razor sharp claws. Even the higher up opposed digit was tipped with such a claw. Fists clenched tightly as he stood there. His eyes held onto her, another snarl escaping his form at her words. If she thought he was ugly, she'd need to only look in a mirror once he was finished with her. He would see certain of marking that pretty little face of hers. And with a grin, kept to himself, he thought of marking her elsewhere. For now, he would just play with her. If he wanted it to end quickly, it would. But it had been so long since he'd had use of this form, he wanted to ensure it would last. A slight hunch of his stance showed that he was ready, and waiting. ::

The crimson glow in her eyes receded into dying amber as his steps faltered to a stop. She noted the way the muscles on his body rippled with every move he makes. Surely he was not as burly as her mind's eyes made him to be. He was more like human than of animal in his stance, at least. Shynayne would keep the wrist bow aimed to his head as she stood there in the middle of the small cavern; her back now facing the rock formations she was perched upon not too long ago. By heightened senses, she could feel the trained eyes of her blackguards as they stayed hidden amongst the shadows high above them. The ability to levitate has its advantages and though she had commanded them to stand down, they will not hesitate to attack him should he proved to be more than just a formidable foe but for now, she was comfortable with their situation. She lowers the short sword to tap the silver blade against her right leg brace, at the same time moving her fingers to send a signal to one of the blackguard situated right above where he stood. A moment later there a small sound coming from above; a small stone it would seem had dropped from the ceiling. A snicker would erupt as she raises her sword wielding arm to cover her eyes as a blinding light erupted upon the stone hitting the floor just a few feet from where the werewolf stood; the blackguard has responded by throwing a flash stone. Without opening her eyes, she let fly a few of the poisonous dart which was aimed at his head as the light slowly dissipates.
Malikai: And using that memory to his advantage, he would jump from where he stood and land a few yards back and to his left. Keeping his hands ready for anything he could hear nearing him, should he be able to hear it that is. For a few moments, his eyes were useless. Hearing those objects flying towards him, he would roll out of the way, coming to a crouched position. Slowly, his sight began to return. Such a clever little minx she was. Using subterfuge, and her allies, to attempt to strike him. And by using such small weapons, he could only assume there was more to them than he knew. A note was made to avoid them. Rubbing at his eyes a little, then blinking rapidly, his sight cleared a little more. If he could talk, he would taunt her efforts. For now, he would only snarl at her.

Shynayne was amazed at how fast he recovered from the blinding flash. He was surely adapted to the wiles and crafts of the Underdark to have survived such a surprise attack. Even the Drow cowers from such powerful light. A shrug ensued as she returned the silver blade to its place on her back before snapping a new cartridge of poisonous darts on to replace the depleted one on her wrists,. She was pretending to be distracted, canting her head to right and then the left as if inspecting the small weapon. A moment later she was snarling back at him and then the next she was gone from the spot, ascending swiftly like a spider upon its silvery thread; the air suddenly buzzing with activities as small poisonous arrows begins to rain upon his form.
Malikai :: His eyes followed her as she left the ground. Muscles tensed and ears twitched at the sounds of those darts again. Dexterously, his form would shift to avoid being hit with them. Jumping, bending, rolling, and flipping from their paths. She was intent on hitting him with those things. Whatever they were, it wasn't just plain darts. His eyes caught sight of a slight ledge from one of the walls. In his motions, he lithely dodged one of the darts by jumping and twisting his form. A foot came to rest on that ledge, and it was all he needed. Eyes met her form. No doubt she'd run out of darts in this clip, telling from the reload she'd had to do moments ago. With a forceful push, he leapt from the spot and towards her. Arms out stretched, fingers spread outwards. Each claw ready to rend her flesh from that body. ::

Granted, he was very fast on his feet for a beast of his size; crimson tinged eyes blazing as they captured his almost fluid movements moving from his crouching position to run forth towards the wall. In the instants that his foot met with the small ledge, Shynayne had sensed his next move. Fortunately for her, she had not finished the round of darts; having relied upon her blackguards to attack at full force as she ascends to their level. She would pray to the Spider Queen later but for now she a snarl would ensue as he lunges forth towards her hovering form; elongated nails going for the kill, it would seem. A second it took for her to decide, relinquishing the hold of anti-gravity to fall back onto the floor but not before flicking a flash stone towards his oncoming form. The blinding came in a moment; almost rendering her blind herself, a jolt of pain was felt in her temples as she found the floor once again; small form rolling away from the falling form of her nemesis before swiftly scrambling up to a crouch. She snarls as eyes adjusted to the darkness once the light disintegrate.
Malikai :: Flying towards her, he could see the next moments playing out in his head. He'd grab hold of her, and dig his nails into her flesh. Those teeth would clamp around her throat and press tightly into it. Not a killing blow, no. But a position to let her know he'd beaten her. Any move to help her would instigate him tearing her throat out. But those thoughts left as he saw her drop. His eyes followed her, unaware of the second flash stone headed towards him. Feeling something pelt him, just before another blinding flash took him. His hands went to his eyes, and he felt himself falling. Before he could brace himself, his chest slammed into the ground, and he went rolling into the wall. A loud groan echoed in the cavern as he hit, and as he slammed into that wall. The force had knocked him slightly out of it. But he quickly came to, and rose to his feet. Just as before, his vision soon cleared and returned to him. With a snarl, he took his stance near the wall he'd hit. She was a tricky little thing. Though he'd faced harder opponents, she was steadily proving to be quite the elusive one. ::

The blinding The snarl continued as eyes trained on his rolling form, crimson ringed gaze following swiftly as her left wrist rose to aim and just as he hits the wall; her middle finger would press the level, letting fly at least a half a dozen of the small deadly darts in way. Rising to her feet, fingers would find another cartridge, releasing the emptied one deftly before reloading. Nimble feet would move forth fast, faster than a jaguar, carrying agile form closer to the werewolf, darts announcing her arrival.
Malikai :: In a fluid motion, his hands moving swiftly before him, they would pluck those incoming darts out of the air. He didn't need to see what he could easily hear. Dropping each one as he caught it, he would toss them aside. Would she ever catch on that this plan wasn't going to work. Before long, his vision was fully restored. She was moving faster than he'd given her credit for. Arms opened, awaiting her arrival. But rather than wait for her to come to him, he would lunge towards her again. His own speed surpassing the beating of a hummingbird's wings. Those arms reached outwards for her, lips pulled back in a snarl as he eyes her moving form. ::

If she was surprised she hid it well as his hands moved at lightning speed to rid the still air of the poisonous darts coming his way. Though surely, from the movement of her hands, some would have found their marks. It did not matter for by then he was lunging his muscles bound form towards her swiftly moving; nails reaching out to maul her small body. As he neared, she veered to the right, hand finding the pommel of her short sword before springing up on left side, missing his claw by a hairs breadth. The silver blade would find his shoulder as she rolls onto his back, sliding against his moving form to fall behind him.
Malikai :: A sharp twinge of pain across his back, and he snarled out. Landing deftly upon those padded feet, he quickly turned to face her once more. Slight trickles of blood matter down his fur, but the wound would heal in a few minutes. Perk of being in this form was that everything was enhance. From his strength and senses to his reflexes and healing abilities. If people thought his human form to be a challenge, then this form was the peak of the mountain. Though she was still proving to be a challenge herself. She was quick. But not because she was faster than he was. It seemed to him he was letting his best judgment slip. He would have to maintain his wits if he were to defeat this one. She was crafty. Another mental note was made, and this one was put on priority. A lowered stance was taken, crouching even. He kept his eyes one her, a look of focus in them.
Again he surprised her with his moves. She noticed that the area were the mat of bloodied fur signals the damage she had caused was beginning to quiver, a fast healer, her mind would muse. Shynayne would twirl the blade in her hand, her left finding the pouch of sleeping powder on her belt. As he turn to face her, she let fly the remainder of her darts in her attempt to distract him, ascending swiftly to get out of his way should he decided to lunge forth once more, releasing the doubly potent sleeping powder to rain upon his crouching form. She was pressed for time for daylight is about to befall them. They would meet again in another match, she was sure of it but for now, she signals the blackguards to disperse as she herself melted into the darkness.
Malikai :: He kept his poise. Not moving from where he was, the beast would keep a wary eye on her. Those darts once more flying towards him. Again, his hands would swiftly pluck them from the air. Once more, tossing them aside as he grabbed them. As the last had been taken care of, he noticed the powder raining down on him. Quickly, he held his breath. Whatever it was, he would not breath it in so easily. He watched as she gave a signal, then faded from sight. Moving from where the powder was, and being sure he was clear of it, he allowed himself to resume breathing. Though he was glad that was finally over, he secretly hoped to see her again. She'd given him a challenge he hadn't known before. And it would be a shame to only sample it once.
